About Nancy
Nancy Hopkins Reily was born in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, August 7, 1934, as a fifth generation Texan. She attended Robert E. Lee Elementary School, Highland Park High School, Gulf Park College, Gulfport, Mississippi, and Southern Methodist University. Her degree from SMU was a B.B.A. in Retail Merchandising. Later she taught a photography workshop at Angelina College, Lufkin, Texas, where she had a one-woman show of her portraits. Her advance studies included an invitational workshop with Ansel Adams in 1983. She turned her ability to see into writing as just another way to see. She has authored eight books.
